New Project

I'm working on a new project right now, called Adventures of a Caveman (a working title). It's for the second competition at YoYo Games. The theme is Ancient Civilization, and I plan on making a platform/RPG game featuring cavemen.

Your goal is to provide food for your family by any means necessary. This means that you may have to do certain jobs for people, (with the payment being food). You may have to fight off a beast that has been threatening a family, find someone's lost item, or just hunt down animals on your own, etc... More ideas are welcome. Once you bring enough food back to your family you gain a level. I haven't decided what that will do yet, but I promise it will do something. ;)

Anyways, I have a little demo for you. It's not much though. It just displays the style of graphics I'm using. All the sprites and backgrounds are to be drawn and animated in Flash. Don't worry, I figured out away to keep the sprites anti-aliased in the game. Check it out. One of the sprites is anti-aliased, the other isn't.

Welcome

I personally would like to welcome you to, my personal blog of some sort. I haven't decided what to put in this blog, so please, bear with me. I know some of you may be staring at the 'bear' in my last sentence, wondering if it should be replaced with 'bare'. Well, let me put it this way; if I said "bare with me", I'd be asking you to undress with me... Maybe I should have said 'bare'. ;)

Well now, this doesn't seem like enough content for my first blog, does it?

So, let me tell you about... erm, stuff. I like to create video games with Game Maker. So, I may be posting some screenshots, demos, and maybe videos on occasion of my WIP's. However, I've only finished one game. I also like to create vector art and the occasional pixelation. It turns out I actually do know what will be going into this blog. :P

Well, that's enough for now, I hope I don't forget about this blog. I'll update when I update.
